Synopsis

A hunter, a baseball player and an astronomer are abducted by the Reynans. Captain Comet discerns that all of the abductees had keen eyesight. The Reynans come for Captain Comet. Rather than resist, Captain Comet allows himself to be abducted by the Reynans. Captain Comet learns, telepathically, that, due to the radiation emitted by a super nova, the Reynans are going blind. The Reynans have been abducting human beings with perfect eyesight to serve as their guides. Upon reaching the Reynan home world, and finding the other abductees, Captain Comet escapes his bonds. Captain Comet rescues the abductees. Captain Comet declares that a civilization, one as advanced as the Reynans, should be able to learn to compensate for their disability.
